Do you know what the shape personality test is? You might’ve seen the simple test where you have to pick a geometric shape, and your choice tells you about your personality. Our shape personality test works somewhat in reverse. You tell us some things about yourself and your traits, and in exchange, we give you a shape that fits your personality! How does that sound? Get ready for the quiz that will reveal the truth about your nature.

Discover which of the 16 personality types are you.

Geometric psychology

In 1978, Dr. Susan Dellinger, a communication expert, developed the system of psycho-geometrics. Its foundation is that our characteristics, attitudes, educational background, and life experience all draw us to specific geometric shapes. The sooner you figure out which personality type you’re working with, the better prepared you’ll be to communicate effectively.

One of the most typical shapes is circles, zigzags, squares, rectangles, and triangles. Which one best resonates with you?

Delve into the two INFJ subtypes and find out if they sound familiar.

Square

Squares represent reliability, order, and stability. A square is hard-working, diligent, and persevering. Patiently and methodically, they work to achieve perfection. Sometimes their determination might turn into compulsion. They collect information quickly and put it into neat boxes to retrieve as needed. Squares prefer to lead an organized life where everything is predictable with no surprises. They thrive in a structured environment because it helps them concentrate better.

A square has a logical mind and is mathematically inclined. When solving problems, they value analysis of facts and cold calculation over trusting feelings or intuition. A downside of square’s personality is that they can be antisocial, uncomfortable with emotions, and struggle to connect with others. They might also be stubborn and resistant to change.

Triangle

Triangles represent direction and power. A triangle is extremely competitive, ambitious, and strives for success – a natural leader type. Triangles are driven, confident, and focused on their goals. It’s difficult for them to admit to mistakes. A triangle’s flaw is that they want to be right in everything and hate to be proven wrong.

An upside of their personality is that they want to learn. They absorb information, analyze situations quickly and make sound decisions. Triangles tend to get to the point.

Rectangle

Rectangles symbolize transition. They tend to be dissatisfied with their lives and want something better. They’re unpredictable, open the change, and sometimes forgetful. A rectangle tries to do things that have never been done before and asks questions they have never asked before. They keep busy seeking chances to improve their circumstances.

Rectangles might suffer from low self-esteem and are prone to emotional outbursts. They’re pacifists and tend to avoid conflict. On the upside, they’re often curious, inquisitive, brave, and interested in many things. Their sincere and upbeat attitude is what keeps them going in life.

Circle

Circles are symbolic of harmony, unity, and completion. People and interpersonal relationships are most important to circles. They are nurturing, adaptable, and true social butterflies. They have a lot of empathy and want others to feel good. Because a circle’s focus is on harmony and emotions, they have a hard time dealing with conflict and prefer others to make difficult decisions. They’re concerned with people more so than with power or success.

A circle is the kindest of the five geometric shapes, functioning as a glue that holds their social group (family, friends, work team, etc.) together. When solving problems, circles are creative and emotion-oriented rather than logic-oriented. Their main characteristic is an emphasis on the interpretive elements of the issue. They are always worthy of trust, but because of their compassionate nature, they have a difficult time saying no to people.

Zigzag

Zigzags represent creativity and uniqueness. Zigzags are highly creative, naturally expressive, and able to produce new and great ideas. The downside is that they can get distracted. They don’t focus on details too much, which allows them to see the world holistically. A zigzag is persuasive, motivating, and often successful in getting its ideas accepted. They enjoy challenging the status quo.

This type gets easily bored and doesn’t like to stay in one place for too long. After all, there are so many fascinating things to see and experience. Zigzags are more interested in possibilities than in reality.
