How to make slime?

Slime has so many good qualities, especially for children. Therefore, it is worth knowing how to make slime. Slime can be a DIY toy that you can easily make with the right ingredients. You can also buy special slime from toy stores. But preparing slime can also be educational for children.

Slime can be prepared at home from glue, lens cleaner and soda, as well as many other ingredients used as additives or subsytutes. You can also buy a special kit for making plastic slime, which contains all the necessary ingredients, and often also glitter and other additives to improve the properties of the slime and change its appearance.

If you don’t use bowls from the kit, but choose some from the kitchen, remember that simply washing the dishes after playing is not enough. Bowls for kneading the mass are best intended only for this purpose. Also be careful not to wipe your eyes with dirty hands or take the mass into your mouth. Should my children play with slime?

You may be wondering if it is safe to play with slime. We have mentioned the important information you need to keep in mind before your kid starts playing with slime. If you take care of cleanliness and good slime ingredients and watch your child while playing, nothing bad will happen. And slime has many good qualities. Sensory slime play is very good for children of all ages.

Slime plastic mass calms, teaches concentration and patience – the child mixes the ingredients and learns what it leads to. Slime recipes

The first recipe is bubblegum slime. You will need 1 cup of white glue – this is the base. Also a half cup of hand foam, 1 cup of shaving foam, 5 tablespoons of cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of face foam. 4 tablespoons of emulsion divided into two portions, activator, optional dye or 1-3 drops of fragrance oil.

Preparing the slime looks like this: pour the glue into a large bowl. Add hand foam, shaving foam, cornstarch, face foam and half of the emulsion. Finally, we can add dye and fragrance oil. Gradually add activator, but no more than 1-2 tablespoons. When the concoction becomes sticky, we start kneading it with our hands. You can soak your hands in the activator so that the mass does not stick too much. Finally, we add the remaining emulsion to make the mass more elastic.

Another recipe is for jiggly slime. You need 1 cup of white glue, 1/2 cup of hand foam, 3/4 cup of warm tap water, activator, optional dye or 1-3 drops of fragrance oil. Then place the glue in a bowl and add the handwashing foam and water. You can add dye or fragrance oil. Mix thoroughly. Gradually add activator, but not more than 1-2 tablespoons at a time. When the mass begins to get sticky, start kneading it. The mass must become homogeneous. Properly prepared mass resembles jelly. It should not stick to the the hands.
