The Korean group Tomorrow X Together, sometimes referred to as TXT, was founded by Big Hit Music. The group consists of five members. On March 4, 2019, they performed on stage for the first time with their first song. TXT has become the second-fastest K-pop group to reach both charts with the release of “Crown,” which peaked at the top of both the Billboard charts. As a result of the group’s early commercial success, they were recognized as new artists and won numerous awards, such as Rookie of the Year.

The creator of Big Hit Entertainment, Bang Si-hyuk, revealed plans for another boy group as soon as 2017, and a start time for early 2019 was determined in November 2018. On January 10, 2019, TXT made its formal debut. Videos of each member were posted on YouTube over the course of the following ten days and were termed “introduction films.”

That the very first boy band after BTS to be presented by Big Hit Entertainment was TXT in 2019, which was six years following BTS made their debut. The Dream Chapter: Star, the group’s debut extended play, was published on March 4, 2019, and the group’s maiden broadcast debuted on Mnet as well as its YouTube website. The Yes24 Live Hall had their debut performance on March 5.
Following the EP’s release, the music video for “Crown,” the album’s first song, received 14.5 million youtube views, setting records for the most watched K-pop debut music video for a boy group within 24 hours and the most loved K-pop premiere video clip, at 2.3 million likes in 24 hours.
The group reached no.1 on the Billboard Emerging Artists list and position 140 on the Billboard 200 chart with their first album, which had the highest charting debut of any male K-pop group and was the second quickest K-pop group to join the Billboard Emerging Artists chart. Just over a week after their debut, they won their first music competition with “Crown” on SBS MTV’s The Show. This was followed by victories on M Countdown and Show Champion.

On April 9, 2019, TXT revealed details of their inaugural worldwide tour, which would include six shows in six American cities over two weeks, from May 9 to 24. In less than a day, all of the performance tickets were gone. TXT performed at the 2019 iHeartRadio Wango Tango music event on June 1 as a follow-up to their May presentation.
On 20 June, the group announced that they are taking part in two of Japan’s largest fashion festivals. On July 6, TXT performed at the KCON festival in front of 55,000 spectators. In the area of “Best K-pop” for the MTV Video Music Awards that same month, TXT won their first nomination.
Due to Yeonjun’s back trouble and Soobin’s viral conjunctivitis diagnosis, Big Hit Entertainment stated on August 8 that arrangements to publish a new album in August will now take place in September. The new album’s release date was pushed back from September to October after Big Hit Entertainment stated on August 20 that musicians Taehyun and HueningKai had both been diagnosed with conjunctivitis.
TXT attended the August 23, 2019, Soribada Best K-Music Awards. The Dream Chapter: Magic, TXT’s debut studio album, was ultimately released on October 21, 2019, and the lead singer was “9 and Three Quarters (Run Away). R&B, tropical house, acoustic pop, hip hop, and other musical styles were all included on the album. It sold more than 124,000 copies in its first week, propelling the album to the top of the Gaon Album Chart.

In addition to their initial EP, this was the group’s second album to top the charts. Position 3 on the Billboard World Albums List and number six on the Billboard Heatseekers Album list were the album’s initial positions. The album’s main single debuted at number two and four songs in all made it onto the Billboard World Digital Songs list. “9 and Three Quarters (Run Away)” was later hailed as one of the year’s top K-pop singles by Dazed and Billboard, respectively.
