Pottermore, or rather Wizarding World, is the heart of the Harry Potter universe. There you can learn about many magical objects, spells, and places, solve puzzles, read the writings of J.K. Rowling, and fall in love with Harry’s world all over again. In 2015, the website began its redesign, with Pottermore House Quiz eventually closing in 2019 and being replaced by WizardingWorld.com.

Hogwarts House

There you can also get sorted into your Hogwarts House. We prepared our own quiz to help you find your place at Hogwarts. Just don’t try to trick the Sorting Hat – it will know your true nature no matter what!

What can you do on the Wizarding World website? You’re certainly in no danger of getting bored. In the quizzes section, you have the opportunity to put your magical knowledge to the test. You can try and defeat Grindelwald in the Gellert Grindelwald quiz. Do watch out for Fantastic Beasts spoilers if you play this one!

Still waiting?

Are you still waiting for your letter from Hogwarts? Harry had to practically battle his uncle Vernon to get access to his letters. In the Wizarding World quiz (full pottermore house quiz), you can prove how much you know about these magical letters.

Can you quote the sayings of Harry Potter characters from the heart? If you’re a faithful fan, the answer is most likely yes! But can you guess the quotes from the unpleasant Dursleys? If you’re willing to test your knowledge, there is a retake pottermore house quiz for that.

The books are available in print, ebook, and audiobook versions and as an illustrated edition. You can download many enchanting games through the app store. You will also find the information on the “Cursed Child” stage play, including updated features, quizzes, and behind-the-scenes videos.

The “shop” section will redirect you to the Harry Potter shop where you can purchase magical wands, sweet treats, collectibles, Hogwarts Houses-themed merchandise, clothing, and many other things. Every Harry Potter fan will find something for themselves there (pottermore house quiz).

Do you have a child in your family whom you would like to introduce to the magical world? Wizarding World has something special for you! There is a section for kids where the young fans can explore the universe of Harry Potter. The first chapter of the first book is available to read for free in both text and audio versions. There are games you can play, quizzes you can solve, and fanart you can check out.

Fun Club

To get closer to the magic, you can join the official Harry potter Fun Club. You can participate in the official Hogwarts Sorting Ceremony, get the latest news and offers in weekly newsletters, and download the Harry Potter Fan Club app for free.
