When you were little, your parents probably told you stories about your guardian angel watching over you. The idea of that is quite comforting, isn’t it? This powerful divine being that shields you from harm and makes sure you are alright. In today’s quiz, you will find out which of the archangels is your guardian angel.

Archangel is an angel with the highest rank. God created Archangels to be in charge of the other angels. Although the term “archangel” is primarily connected with Abrahamic faiths, entities that are extremely like archangels may be found in a variety of religious traditions.

While the archangels are here to serve everyone, they also oversee the guardian angels that are tasked with protecting you. Every human has at least one guardian angel. They also have a guardian archangel to coordinate the angels and your security and happiness. Your guardian angel is present wherever you are, but archangels can be present in more than one place at one time.

How do you ask an angel for help? It’s not a hard task. You don’t need to perform any complicated rituals; all you need to do is ask. However, some people believe it is necessary to pray when asking for guidance, direction, and help from the heavenly celestial beings. In this case, you would need to kneel and say a prayer.

The angels can communicate with you telepathically. So, wherever you need help or guidance from them, you just speak to them in your mind.

You can also verbally communicate with the angels. Verbal communication is better left to the times when you are alone. During these times, you can voice your needs out loud. When privacy is not an option, you can write to the angels and ask them for help. While you write, you put your thoughts into words, which the angels have a way of understanding.

Last, but not least, it is possible to communicate with angels through dreams. You can invite the angels into your dreams to ask them for help while you are asleep.

Different scholars list different numbers of archangels. In Catholic belief, Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael are the only Archangels to be named. It differs in other traditions, for example, The Eastern Orthodox Church does mention Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, but expands upon this list, giving us seven Archangels and sometimes even eight. The four most common archangels are Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel.

Michael is commonly depicted as a warrior and as the chief of the other angels. He appears in the New Testament, the Tanakh, and the Quran. When the Book of Revelation discusses the Great war in heaven, the Dragon is defeated by Michael, who leads the army against the Devil. In the Catholic tradition, he rules over God’s Army and triumphs over the powers of hell. He would also carry the souls of the deceased to heaven and weigh them on his scales. If the scales remained perfectly balanced, he would carry them to heaven. Michael is supposed to protect you from harm and shield you from negativity.

Gabriel, like Michael, appears in the three Abrahamic religions but is instead considered the Holy Messenger, the Word of God. He appears to the Prophet Daniel to explain his visions of the Ram and the goat are related to the end of days. He also appears to Zechariah informing him of the birth of John the Baptist. He does this again with the Virgin Mary, this time for telling the birth of Jesus. Gabriel can help you guide your words and actions when there is a message you need to pass forward.

Raphael, whose name derives from the Hebrew meaning to heal, is an Archangel mentioned in the Old Testament, the Book of Enoch, and the Quran. In the Book of Tobit, he appears to Tobias disguised as a human who accompanies him on his journey. The woman Tobias loved was plagued by the demon Asmodeus, and so Raphael gave Tobias a box containing fish entrails, telling him to burn the entrails before they were next visited by the demon. When Asmodeus came, they did as Raphael instructed and the smell was enough to repel and wither Asmodeus until Raphael could later bind him. He then told Tobias to take the fish’s eyes, grind them into a paste, and rub them over his blind father’s eyes. When he did, his father’s vision was restored. No wonder Raphael is associated with healing. If you’re dealing with an illness and cannot find relief, Raphael is the one you should seek.

Uriel is associated with the sun, light, knowledge, and wisdom. When Herod the Great ordered that all male children in Bethlehem, two years old or younger, would be executed, Uriel carried a young John the Baptist and his mother to safety. Throughout the Book of Enoch, Uriel appears to Enoch himself and guides him, explaining and helping him interpret what his visions mean. If you need to think outside the box or make a fast decision, ask for Uriel’s guidance.
