Hey everyone! Do you like computer games? If so, you’ll like today’s quiz. Which game do you like the most? Do you like one of them especially? If you answer twenty questions in this quiz, we’ll tell you what title you might like. Let’s go over some of the most popular games.

The first of our options for today is, of course, Minecraft. It is an open-world survival computer game created by Markus Persson and developed by Mojang Studios. Minecraft allows players to build and destroy objects located in a randomly generated game world. It is a game with no goals. The only purpose is to survive. Players have endless possibilities to explore and modify the world. The in-game view is shown in the first-person perspective. It can be changed to a third-person view. The idea behind Minecraft is to build and destroy structures made of blocks. The player can break blocks and then create other items from them. Minecraft offers two more dimensions, Nether, and End. The Nether is a hell-like dimension that can be accessed by the player through the portal. Many unique materials cannot be obtained anywhere else. The Nether can also be used to quickly move around the normal world. The End is the dimension in which the Ender Dragon is located. It is like a final boss.

The second game we will talk about today is Rocket League. It is a computer sports game developed and published by Psyonix studio. It is a sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars. The gameplay in these two games is, in most aspects, the same. The player controls the racer to hit the ball towards the opponent’s goal and score a point, like in a soccer ball. A few months after the premiere, match modifiers were added to the game. It allows changing the length of the match, the force of gravity, the size and shape of the ball, and players’ speed.

Another one of the most popular games in recent years is Fortnite. Players are placed in a huge battle on a vast map – singly or in groups of two to four people. The main goal is to eliminate or avoid others until there is only one winner left. The game forces players to interact, gradually reducing the safe zone available. Going beyond it can lead to the loss of health and death of the character. To gain an advantage over opponents, players must look for weapons and items scattered around the map. Players have the ability to build structures. They can destroy various objects in the game and use the materials obtained to create new ones. The game allows players from different platforms – PCs, consoles, and mobile devices – to play on the same map with each other in a limited way.

The fourth game worth mentioning is Among Us. It is a strategy multiplayer computer game developed and published by InnerSloth. The players are divided into crewmates and one to three impostors. The role of crewmates is to perform tasks on the ship, and the impostors – sabotage the mission and eliminate crewmates. At the beginning of the game, the players receive information on how many antagonists are on the ship. Players are eliminated through democratic voting during which everyone consults and, based on their observations, suspects are selected. The people who received the most votes are eliminated. When all impostors are eliminated or crewmates complete all tasks, the crew wins. When the impostors eliminate most of the crew or destroy important parts of the ship, they win.

The last iconic game we will talk about today is League of Legends. It is an online multiplayer online battle arena computer game. It was created based on the Defense of the Ancients modification for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. It was produced and published by Riot Games studio. It was announced on October 7, 2008, and released on October 27, 2009. The games are played on the Summoner’s Rift map, which is the only one available in the game at a professional level. Two teams of five stand in front of each other, trying to destroy the opposing team’s Nexus. On the way to it, they are defeating creatures and structures on the lines and monsters in the jungle. Each team’s Nexus is the heart of the base, next to a place where players start the game and reappear upon death. Both bases are located at opposite ends of the map. The road to each is blocked by 3 towers located on the three lines called the upper, middle, and lower lines. Behind the third tower is a structure called Inhibitor. After the destruction, it summons “super minions” with powerful offensive and defensive stats. One battle can last from about 15 minutes to over an hour.
