Which Rick and Morty Character Are You?
Rick Sanchez
You're a private person and don't like to let anyone in; that's because you are deeply insecure. You can be critical and argumentative, as well as very stubborn. You move quickly from one idea to another and it's hard for you to stay focused on just one thing. You are a logical thinker with a sharp mind and can get frustrated if others don't follow your way of thinking.
Morty Smith
You are timid and not very assertive. Some people might not think much of you, but it's their mistake to underestimate you. You are smart and can quickly find a way out of difficult situations. You are a good listener and find it easy to connect with others. You're a brave, straightforward individual. You have a sense of pride in your achievements.
Beth Smith
You're level-head and assertive. You don't hesitate to say what needs to be said, even if it hurts someone's feelings. You can be aloof and distant, but you care deeply for your loved ones. However, their emotional needs exhaust you. You have a sarcastic sense of humor and a somewhat abrasive personality, especially when criticized.
Summer Smith
You are strong mentally and someone good to have around in times of crisis. You can be self-centered and your ego is quite big. You dislike authorities and like to do things your way. You are easily the most dependable person in your social group. You're observant and often see things other people fail to notice. You also have a hilarious sense of humor.
Jerry Smith
You're the type to constantly need recognition and praise to validate you. You can be insecure and misguided in your actions. You like to do things in a traditional way - stepping out of the box is not for you. You are a person of simple tastes and do not need much. Despite your lack of assertiveness, you can be brave and heroic if needed.

Hiya! Are you a fan of pickle Rick? If you’re here, you’re probably dying to find out which Rick and Morty’s character are you. You’re in the right place – our quiz will help you answer that question once and for all!
Rick and Morty is an animated adult sitcom in the science fiction/comedy genre. The series follows the misadventures of a depressed, cynical, alcoholic madman Rick Sanchez (who also happens to be a brilliant scientist) and his grandson Morty Smith. Rick together with kind-hearted, but anxious Morty explore the infinite universes, causing mayhem and running into trouble.
Rick returns to his daughter Beth’s life after two decades of no contact. He finds her married to an incompetent, pathetic man named Jerry, and a mother to two kids. Summer, the oldest girl, is a rebellious adolescent who wants to make more friends at school, and Morty, the youngest child, is a jittery, quiet, and sweet young man. Rick makes Morty his sidekick and takes him on hilarious transdimensional adventures. During all that, he makes Morty’s life increasingly miserable due to Rick’s insane, abusive, and careless behavior.
The series was created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon. Roiland voices the titular characters (Rick and Morty), while Sarah Chalke, Chris Parnell, and Spencer Grammer voice Beth, Jerry, and Summer, respectively. The show was based on a series of crudely animated short films for Channel 101 based on a Back to the Future parody The Real Animated Adventures of Doc and Mharti by Justin Roiland.
Rick Sanchez is a genius scientist and an alcoholic whose inventions and experiments serve as the foundation for the episodes. His insane, nihilistic, and often abusive behavior is the cause for concern for his family. Rick is the grandfather of Morty Smith and Summer Smith, as well as Beth Smith’s father. For years he was absent from his family until he returned to live with them, much to his son-in-law Jerry’s dismay. Rick resides in the garage of the Smith family’s house. That’s where his laboratory is and that’s where he builds new inventions and travels to other dimensions.
Rick is a very smart man, but his brilliance can be overshadowed by his jaded personal views and alcoholic tendencies. He is easily bored and hates routine. He was shown to be brutal and had mostly a disregard for life. On the other hand, Rick is not entirely heartless and can get upset when seeing needless deaths. Even though he claims that nothing has meaning, he expresses love for the people dear to him very often.
Morty Smith is the grandson of Rick who is often forced to tag along on his various escapades. He has a sister named Summer and parents, Beth and Jerry. A the beginning of the show, Morty was shown to be very anxious and submissive. However, as time went on, he gained more confidence in himself.
Morty is good-natured, impressionable, and can be somewhat easily manipulated. He struggles in school, but despite these difficulties, we know Morty is a good listener and can follow directions well. While his family members have said before he’s unintelligent, it’s not quite true. He can act quickly in times of crisis and often has good ideas on how to get out of a difficult situation. He has a good understanding of complex ideas.
Summer Smith is the sister of Morty and the daughter of Jerry and Beth, as well as the granddaughter of Rick. She currently serves as the older sister and granddaughter of Morty and Rick from the Cronenberged Dimension and Dimension C-137, respectively. Summer is the only member of the Smith family who is aware of her grandfather Rick and brother Morty’s deaths, as well as her replacement by the Rick and Morty of C-137.
In many ways, Summer is a typical American teenager. She wants to be popular amongst her peers and is constantly on her phone. She finds her family’s antics to be flawed, but she still cares for them and is shown to possess a strong desire for having a family.
Summer is not quite the science genius her grandfather is, but she is intelligent, bright, and quick-witted. She also inherited sociopathic tendencies after Rick and has a much easier time accessing them than Morty has.
Beth Smith is the daughter of Rick Sanchez and the mother of Morty Smith and Summer Smith. Jerry is her husband. She currently acts as the mother of Morty and the daughter of Rick from the Cronenberged dimension. She also works as a veterinarian at the St. Equis Hospital.
Beth, who had a superiority complex and abandonment issues, gradually came to disagree with her husband about his contributions to their marriage, in part because of his disadvantaged rank and subsequent employment, and in part, because her father influenced her feelings of superiority. They eventually divorced, only to reunite in the Season 3 finale.
At around that time, Beth was torn between leaving her family to find herself and remaining on Earth. She ultimately chose to let Rick decide for her. Rick decided to make a clone of Beth and send one to space while leaving the other on Earth, leaving both Rick and the audience in the dark about which Beth is the clone.
Beth is intelligent, ambitious, and independent, but at the same time, she’s also deeply insecure. She has a superiority complex, steaming from trying to hide her insecurities. She often ridicules others for what she sees as a weakness or vulnerability, however, she can also be caring and protective. Beth generally considers her family her most important priority. Like her father, she has sociopathic tendencies and can be destructive. Overall, she’s a complicated personality with many layers.
Jerry Smith is Beth’s husband and the father of Morty and Summer. He is often perceived as somewhat of a loser, because he struggles to find a career, leaving Beth to be the breadwinner. Jerry can be a heroic character, however, proved by him saving his family a couple of times. He is loyal and dedicated to his family, but also misguided and insecure. He has a habit of quitting when things get too hard. Jerry is not very intelligent, but this possibly makes him happier than his father-in-law Rick. Blissfully ignorant Jerry focuses on things that Rick regards as inferior, such as relationships and affections.
