Hiya there! It’s the Blonde Quiz Time! Did you know that being blonde is a state of mind? Even if you have raven-black locks, you might still be a blonde at heart. But what kind of blonde are you? Are you carefree, bubbly, and perhaps a little airheaded -proud to be a bimbo? Are you the scary blonde, the type no one would be surprised to hear they’ve committed murder? (Hey, it’s in a good way. We promise.) Are you the smart, bookish type, waving your pretty finger at mean stereotypes about blondes?
This quiz will test your knowledge, wit, and overall blonde-ness to determine just how much of a blonde bombshell you really are. Whatever your result, you can already be proud to be a blonde – literally or metaphorically. Have fun!
Before you put a brush through your blonde mane and get on with the test, take a look at this assembly of fictional blonde characters we prepared. Some are good, and some are not so good, but all represent the blonde nation with pride. What other iconic pop culture blondes can you add to that list?
Note: if you suddenly feel inspired to dye your hair the exact shade of Daenerys Targaryen’s silver blonde, we take no responsibility. After all, GOT ended years ago. Should’ve gotten that out of your system by now! And if suddenly you feel like wearing pink apparel is your one and only life calling? I guess you’re ready for the upcoming Barbie premiere! This Barbie takes online quizzes like it’s her job.
Speaking of Barbie, guess who is the first on our list?
Who hasn’t heard about that icon? Barbara Millicent Roberts made her promising debut in 1959 at the toy fair in New York City and quickly won over children’s hearts. Barbie absolutely crushed the infant dolls’ market with her tiny shoes. Nothing could’ve hindered her widespread appeal – not the copyright infringement lawsuits (that’s a whole other story) and not parents complaining about Barbie having distinctive…breasts.
Children loved dressing her up and coming up with increasingly wild play scenarios, often culminating with a poor Ken getting thrown down the stairs. (And that was a mild outcome.) Let’s have a moment of silence for all those Barbie dolls with broken legs, faces scribbled on with markers, and hair haphazardly chopped off by little girls worldwide.
As a blonde icon, Barbie has brought numerous moments of happiness to many of us. She also encouraged us to strive to be our best selves. Okay, yes – most of us can’t be astronauts, presidential candidates, models, and rap singers all at the same time. Yet we can strive to achieve our goals, whatever they might be.
The iconique Harvard graduate and world’s number one fashionista Elle Woods would impress even Barbara. Which Legally Blonde character are you?
No collection of famous fictional blondes would be complete without Thor, the ultimate blond himbo. The god of thunder made his first comic appearance in 1962. In 2011, the charming blonde Australian actor Chris Hemsworth made his debut as Thor on the big screen and has since reprised the role in eight more movies.
Many people know that the Norse god of the same moniker was the inspiration for Marvel’s Thor. However, were you aware that the mythological Thor wasn’t blond? Yes, the pagan god of thunder, fertility, and strength didn’t sport luscious blond coils. Instead, he was believed to have red hair and an unruly red beard. Still, it’s hard to imagine Thor without his wavy blond royal mane or short spunky haircut that we’ve seen in the movies.
What type of guy you are: good, bad yet struggling, or irredeemably evil?
One of the names that should be on our list is Daenerys Stormborn, also known as the Mother of Dragons, Lady of the Seven Kingdoms, and The One Many of Us Rooted For. Many fans loved her, and many found themselves entranced by Emilia Clarke’s expressive eyebrows. (Let’s not talk about the way Daenerys’ story ended – plenty of people said their thoughts on the matter already.)
Dany’s silver-blonde hair throughout the show goes through a journey nearly as complicated and full of twists as its owner. Her crimped waves, carefully twisted curls, and intricate braids might symbolize the emotional road Danerys is on and her ongoing transformation. Either way, the queen’s hairdos are a testament to the skills of artists working on Emilia Clarke’s wigs.
No matter what one may think about Daenerys Targaryen’s controversial fate, she represents all of the confident, if slightly unhinged blonde babes out there.
Are you itching to dye your hair? Find out the right color for you!
What’s worse: getting your dragon to burn the whole city or framing your cheating husband for murder (and killing someone while you’re at it)? Ethical principles aside, Amy Dunne is one of the most fascinating female characters and yet another score for unhinged blonde representation.
Although she is hardly a morally upright individual, you can’t help but be impressed by her cunning schemes. Additionally, Amy’s ability to cut her own hair at a gas station bathroom and still achieve a perfectly stylish bob is something to be admired. Most of us can’t do that even if we aren’t in the process of faking our own deaths.
That list could go on for way longer, but we don’t have time to blob around (blond around?), we have other things to do! It’s finally time to learn what kind of blonde you are. Take our quiz to see how blonde you really are. If you have any blond friends, pass the link their way! Remember: blondes do it better!
