Not everyone can be a leader, because not everyone would be a good leader. You have to find yourself in that role. Leaders are usually extroverted people. Introverts prefer to limit contact with others and work independently, although they too can be leaders for themselves. However, most often leaders are more open-minded and enjoy the company of other people. They are often the center of attention and can easily gain that attention.
Leaders always know what to do, are confident and believe in their own abilities. Even if they have to make mistakes, they are not afraid to do so, they just try. They also have great motivational abilities, able to inspire people and other positive emotions. Leaders are good organizers, like to plan and are good at solving problems. They don’t like to be ruled by someone, because then they can’t follow their intuition. They want to set goals themselves, and they also like to help others.
They are individualists who know how to manage people. It is not only at work that we can meet leaders. In every group of friends there is a leader who has the most ideas and can rock any party. Such people are more likely to achieve professional and school success. This is because the world is better adapted to such people.
However, they have to face various adversities. They are more exposed to criticism, and have many admirers, but also a lot of haters. Not everyone copes well with such responsibility, the stress and being more exposed to people’s judgment means that their mental health can often be affected. They need to have the right attitude and help to handle it.
In the world, most people are followers. Such people do not need to feel a constant sense of control. They just want to live their lives and keep to themselves. It’s easier for them when someone else is the center of attention so they don’t have to. More important than ambition for them is peace of mind. They also prefer to observe rather than act. Such people focus on other things in life. They look for authority figures, specialists and confident people they can trust and follow. With the help of other people, it is easier for them to find themselves.
Followers tend to be less ambitious and don’t like to make decisions on their own. They always have to make sure they are right because they are more rational, but they also may have less confidence and self-confidence. When it comes to work or school, they succeed when they are given precise instructions. They like to have someone they can take example from and emulate. That way they know who they want to be themselves.
Every leader has a follower in him or her, because each of us sometimes compares ourselves to other people to confirm whether we are doing the right thing. Folowers, however, shrug off most of this responsibility. Because of this, they can sometimes feel lost or it’s risky when they take the wrong person as their leader. They may also tend to be conformists and have problems with assertiveness.

First of all, you need to work on self-confidence. First of all, you need to believe that you are valuable and have the right to express your opinion and act on it. Trust your decisions, and treat mistakes as guidance. Also remember that none of us is perfect, even the best leader sometimes makes mistakes. Don’t be afraid of change, try to adapt to it. Don’t use your power and don’t consider yourself better than others. As a leader you still need to listen to other people and be open to new suggestions. Set boundaries and remember to be responsible.
But also treat life as a challenge. Remember that it is supposed to be an interesting adventure, while if you feel very bad in the role of a leader, it is better to accept the role of a follower and take care of your mental health first and foremost.
