Would you rather take this quiz or eat a plate full of broccoli? Hopefully, there’s only one answer! “Would you rather” is a fun game where you have to choose one scenario over the other. It can get pretty crazy! How hard do you think our “would you rather” quiz will be for you? Trust us – it might be trickier than you think. You’ll have to make wise choices!

“Would you rather” is a party game that gives the participants a dilemma in the form of a question beginning with “Would you rather”. It proposes a choice between two good options or bad options. For example, “Would you rather be allergic to water or allergic to the sun?” or “Would you rather be beautiful or rich?”.

The players have to choose one of the options. Answering “neither” or “both” is not allowed. It allows the participants to debate and discuss their choices and can lead to interesting conversations.

The game is played on the podcast Comedy Bang! Bang!, Richard Herring’s Leicester Square Theatre Podcast, the horror film Would You Rather, the Disney Channel TV series Coop & Cami Ask the World, and the BBC America game show Would You Rather…? with Graham Norton.

If you’ve ever been to a slumber party, you must’ve played “Would you rather” or other party games. Let’s refresh your memory!

“Seven minutes in heaven” is a popular kissing party game. Two people are selected by spinning a bottle, drawing votes, or other methods. They have to go into a closet or other enclosed space and remain there for seven minutes. It’s common for the participants to kiss or make out, but they might also choose to talk or do nothing at all.

“Truth or dare?” is a mostly verbal party game requiring at least two players. The participants have to either answer a question truthfully or perform a dare.

The game has existed for many centuries, going back as far as 1712. It might have been inspired by ancient command games such as the Greek basilinda.

“Two truths and a lie” is another fun game to play in a company. You pick three statements about yourself, for example, “I have two sisters. I like the color blue. I never had ice cream.” One of them has to be a lie. The other participants must guess which one is it. It’s a fun way to get to know each other.

“Never have I ever” is another classic party game. One person begins by saying “Never have I ever…” and finishing with something they’ve never done (cheat in school, been to Australia, ate seafood). The participants who’ve done this thing must hold up one finger or have a drink (in an adult version of the game). The game continues until one person has three fingers up – they’re out.

The game can build stronger bonds between participants and make them admit to things they previously haven’t. Depending on the nature of the group, the game can get pretty spicy.

Have you ever heard of “Medusa”? No, not the mythical creature. However, this game is unmistakably inspired by her.

Gather everyone around a table. Everyone will bow their heads. Count down from three, and then have everyone sit up and look at someone else in the circle. You’re out if you make eye contact with someone else. You’re safe if the person you’re looking at is looking at someone else. Repeat until everyone is out.

What about Mr. Freeze? This one can get hilarious in the right setting. Choose one person to play Mr. Freeze. Allow everyone participating in the game to move around the party as usual. When Mr. Freeze freezes, everyone else must follow suit. Whoever is the last to freeze is out. Continue for the duration of the party.

“Musical chairs” is a party game for children, but adults can have fun with it too. Set up chairs with enough seating for everyone playing, minus one. Pick one person to play the music, and have the others stand in a circle around chairs. When the music starts, the participants start walking around chairs. When it stops, everyone must find a seat. Whoever doesn’t is out. Remove one chair and continue the game until only two people are left fighting for one seat.

Who hasn’t played the “Telephone” game? Gather round in a circle. Choose one phrase to whisper in the ear of the person next to you. That person will repeat it to the person next to them, and so on until the phrase reaches you again. Prepare to giggle as it becomes increasingly distorted. Play music in the background to make the game even more difficult.

Mafia is a fun game to play if you have a deck of cards, a lot of time, and a long attention span. This game’s other names include Assassin, Werewolf, and Village. See the full Mafia rules for more information. Essentially, certain members of the group are the bad guys (mafia, assassins, etc.); others are villagers, and still, others are police officers. The game moderator is one of them. The cops are attempting to figure out who the bad guys are before they slaughter all of the villagers.

Are you ready to answer the “Would you rather…?” questions? It might get trickier than you think… Take this fun quiz we prepared for you, and have fun!
