Money Heist, which is known as La Casa de Papel in Spanish, is a Spanish crime drama TV show that has taken the world by storm. The series was created by Alex Pina, and it traces two heists which were led by the Professor, who is played by Alvaro Morte. It takes viewers through the story from the perspective of a robber named Tokyo and features attacks on the Royal Mint of Spain and the Bank of Spain. There was also a documentary on Netflix at the same time as the release of the fourth part, which was called Money Heist: The Phenomenon. It took viewers behind the scenes of the show and involved the cast and the producers of the show, giving you a greater look at what went into making this amazing show. The series has been renewed for the fifth and sixth parts, which will conclude the series in September and December of 2021.

The majority of the series was filmed in Madrid in Spain, but parts three and four traveled further afield to Panama, Italy, and Thailand for some scenes. The show has been adored by viewers from around the world, and it has been awarded the Best Drama Series at the Emmy Awards as well as many other awards. It’s been well received by both viewers and critics due to the drama, plot, acting, and direction. It’s introduced a whole new audience to Spanish television, and the song, which you hear in many episodes, even became a huge hit in summer 2018. Netflix has really helped to push this series to greater heights and has encouraged viewers to enjoy more foreign language series and films thanks to how well this show has performed.

In Money Heist, we see The Professor recruit eight people who use city names as their code names. The Professor has a very ambitious plan and hopes to enter the Royal Mint of Spain. Sixty-seven people are taken hostage inside the Mint, and the team aims to stay inside to print money while dealing with police forces. The group is then forced out of hiding following this heist while they start to prepare for the second heist on the Bank of Spain. With so much drama in every episode, you won’t want to miss a minute of the action.
